I wonder if the fed will remain EXTRA DOVISH for the sake of alleviating the situation in Eurozone. I dont think they will, but if they do mention "Eurozone Uncertainty" then stocks will rally and USD will fall.

WM, Oil regains 86. Connecting the daily trend line from the April 6 high we get resistance at 86.46. meanwhile CRB (which is 23% dominated by oil) is testing the 280 resistance.

rim; 2005 USDX due to temporary factors but commodities did rise too.
But 2005 was different as there was a clear economic expansion.


Bojan, tough question about CADCHF as far as fundamentals are concerned. One could say CHF may start to lose ground as SNB is set to take advantage of EUR rebound and intervenes. i would say wait for minor retracement in CADHf before resuming uptrend towards 1.10 in medium term.

But a 140-pip gap-up in EURUSD is no joke; so this suggest that $1.3790 can be viable as the next target; but i would rathar stay with eurusd shorts and long EURCHF for 1.4550

Yen is weakening for the very reasons I stated in the first IMT of today. But as we get close to end of March, we may see yen strength from Japanese repatriation as well as from any equity correction.

Rob, yes PBOC hikes would be good for yen but also good for USD. hence Yen will show least strength against USD. Therefore USDJPY eyes 91.70 and even 92.30
